Katherine was thrilled to be part of a once-in-a-lifetime recording project involving the analogue recording of J.S. Bach’s iconic cello suites, with the performances delivered by two exceptional cellists: Justin Pearson and Pedro Silva. Katherine accompanies the performances with Schumann’s piano accompaniment for the 3rd suite, which was only discovered in 1981.
The recording project was truly special and resulted in a stunning deluxe box set that contained five LPs, a paperback book by Eric Siblin titled “The Cello Suites”, and a 32-page “Behind the Scenes” booklet that delved into the making of the album. The box set was a must-have for any classical music lover and was a testament to the incredible talent of the musicians involved.
