Katherine welcomes advanced high-level piano students of all ages for in-person and online lessons covering:

High-level piano tuition: group coaching and masterclasses
Katherine is delighted to offer high level piano tuition in the form of masterclasses for groups of piano students in universities, music schools and conservatoires working in a wide range of genres including classical, musical theatre, accompaniment, and recitals.
Students may be looking to garner either general or specific feedback on their performance, accompaniment, musical communication, working with singers or instrumentalists, technical piano skills, or advice on preparation for upcoming examinations and performances.
Katherine is a performance graduate of the Royal College of Music and brings many years of experience performing and teaching into her coaching.
Each session can be tailored to the needs of the specific students and offered on site wherever suitable facilities exist.
Students will have the opportunity to learn from someone who has mastered the art of piano playing, particularly piano accompaniment.
Katherine ensures that her masterclasses are interactive, engaging, and appropriately challenging.
The group forum format brings the opportunity to observe their peers and reflect upon the feedback they receive.
Participating students will receive personalised attention and feedback to help them improve and guidance in detail towards achieving their musical goals.
Pricing
Masterclasses
Piano masterclasses and high-level piano tuition individual via coaching hours in attendance at a school or university:
£1000 per day (or £600 for a half day)
plus any relevant travel and accommodation expenses.
In-person lessons
At Katherine’s home in Andover, Hampshire:
£120 per hour
In central London: £170 – £250 per hour, to cover the hire of a space with a suitable instrument
At your home – cost by agreement based on location and travelling time.
Online lessons
£120 per hour
Online lessons can be held via Skype or Zoom.
