One of Katherine’s most notable television performances was on the BBC TV show, ‘Live with Jools Holland’. The show saw Katherine teaming up with renowned musician Mike Oldfield to perform songs from his album, ‘Tubular Bells III’.

She also appeared on the show ‘Job for the Girls’, in which Pauline Quirk and Linda Robson were given so rather extreme challenges, one of which was singing alongside Kiri Ti Kanawa at Kenwood House. Katherine – aged just 22 – accompanies the RCM choir which support Quirk and Robson in their first experience of singing classical music.

In 1998, Katherine had the privilege of accompanying the talented singer Laura Michelle Kelly on the TV chat show ‘Esther’. It was an exciting opportunity for the pianist to work with Kelly, and the performance was well received by the audience. Over the years, the pianist has performed with various duos for BBC Radio 2. Katherine also had the honor of performing with the renowned oboist, Alun Derbyshire on Classic FM’s ‘Platform Live’. These performances showcased the pianist’s versatility and ability to work with a range of different musicians.

Katherine’s accuracy, adaptability and communication skills mean that she is ideally suited to live broadcast, and undaunted by the challenges presented.
